Children In Need Zumba 2015

Children In Need Zumba took place on Friday 13^th November. "Spots" and "Your Hero" Fancy dress. Fantastic turn out, brilliant costumes and an amazing total of £465 was achieved. Again huge thanks to all who participated and donated, to Anna, Colleen and Jo for helping to decorate the hall and not forgetting Nicky Day from Bee Healthfoods for sponsoring the class, enabling us to pay the hall rent and for taking these great photos. Cute Pudsy Zumba baby Daniel with us again.

Halloween Zumba 2015

Halloween Zumba took place on Friday 30^th October. Great scary costumes yet again, thanks to all who came and dressed up especially our "Zumba Baby" Daniel, so cute.

Mini Zumbathon for Rich Sampson 2015

Special thank to everyone who took part in and donated to the Mini Zumbathon for Rich Sampson which took place on Friday 24^th April. There was no theme, we had a great turnout and an amazing night and we made a whopping £900 to help Rich in his future life. Special thanks to Andy Carr (ACE Electrical Services) for sponsoring the event.

Valentine Zumba 2015

Valentine Zumba took place on Friday 13^th February. We we all wore red and sang love songs!!, fab atmosphere.

St. Patricks Zumba 2015

St. Patricks Zumba which was on Tuesday 17^th March. All in green, Guinness flowing, loud voices yet again and very funny t-shirts!.

Zumbathon for Paddles Disability Swim School

Zumbathon for Paddles Disability Swim School. The theme was all things "Aquatic"...., lots of fish, penguins, Baywatch Lifeguards, Victorian swimmers and mermaids. We made a cracking £450 on the night but we are hoping to make £500 in total. Thank you to all who helped out and participated. Thank you for all the lovely raffle prizes. Huge thank you to Michelle at Mother Nature who sponsored the event, enabling us to pay the hall rent.

The Nativity 2014

The last Zumba class of 2014 took place on Tuesday 16^th December and was themed "The Nativity". We had God ( myself of course!! ), The Baby Cheeses!! ( Anna in a nappy!!! ), The Inn Keeper ( Michelle with can of Stella!! ), Three Kings ( The Daly Girls ), with their gift of Gold ( Shirley ), Mary ( Rita ), 2 Josephs ( Ann & Joan ), several shepherds, donkeys, sheep and angels!!! Fantastic costumes, fantastic atmosphere and a brilliant end to 2014....Bring on 2015. Thank you to all who dressed up and made it the best Christmas class ever!!....Huge thanks to everyone for all your support in 2014.

The Cops, Robbers, Pirates and Castaways Zumbathon 2014

4^th November.

The Cops, Robbers, Pirates and Castaways Zumbathon was a huge success resulting in a total of £1,050.00 being raised for the two charities, The Douglas Macmillan Hospice and The Stan Bowley Trust, each receiving £525. Many thanks from myself, Nikki and Sharon to all who participated, donated and helped on the night. Brilliant costumes, a varied bunch!!! from Adam Ant ( myself ) to Ironside, Kojak and Al Capone. Huge thanks again to Vivienne Shelley at Glitz Fancy Dress for the costumes.

Brazil World Cup Zumba 2014

17^th June.

Brilliant Brazilian Carnival Zumba, to celebrate the world cup. Amazing costumes, football shirts, feathers, whistles the lot!!! Great night, thank you all for making the effort yet again. Thanks to Dave for the photos and to Glitz Fancy Dress ( Vivienne Shelley ) for my "get up"....Shame about England!!!!!!

Bollywood themed Zumbathon 2014

16^th May.

What a scorcher!!! Bollywood at its best! 50 plus people turned up in the blistering heat on Friday 16^th May to celebrate Nicky's 40^thand Joan's 65^th Birthdays. We were all dressed in our colourful tunics, with our jewels and bangles, we had Indian style nibbles, Cobra Beer, Jos sticks burning and brilliant bhangra music, we even had a snake charmer, (thanks Anna !!!)... Great, great night yet again and we made £500 for Moorlands Home Link.

Huge Thank Yous to: Nicky, Joan and Pete for decorating the hall and sorting the raffle, to Brenda Sammons for the most incredible Zumba Bollywood Birthday cake, Natalie for fantastic ZM Bollywood cupcakes, to Vivienne Shelley and Glitz Fancy Dress for kitting us all out, Kath Kent for the loan of costumes, Hilary Richardson and Val Burns from Home Link for manning the desk, to my two lovely girls Tasha and Evie who danced all night on stage with me, to all who contributed to, and took part in, the Zumbathon, and last but not least, to Dawid Nowaczynski ( Dave ) for brilliant photos....the girls loved you Dave!!!! I would also like to thank Ken Millward and his Line Dancers who allow us to take over some of their time on Friday evenings for the Zumbathons.

Zumba St. Patrick's 2014

18^th March.

WOW you did me and my family proud. We started with Zumba Gold in the afternoon (the group photo), I was dressed as a Leprechaun...what else!!!! I kept the costume on for the evening class. In the evening there was Mrs Brown (my mum), Grandad (Anna), Rory Brown (Michelle), Buster (Ann), Winnie (Rita) and Cathy Brown (Colleen) from Mrs Brown's Boys......FANTASTIC!! Special Thanks to Rita for providing the masks and to Vivienne Shelley yet again for the brilliant costumes. The night was made so much better by the fact that Ireland won the RBS 6 Nations Rugby tournament therefore we had to display a picture of Brian O'Driscoll with the cup!!!... Free Guinness, Tayto crisps and shamrock shortbread fed the masses and made for one of the best zumba classes ever!!! THANKS GUYS FOR MAKING THESE TWO OCCASIONS SO GOOD.

We were all in the mood for LOVE!!!! plenty of hearts, flowers and red costumes, another wonderful night.!

Rita's 60^th Birthday Zumbathon 2014

24^th January.

Zumbathon held on Friday night (24th). We had around 60 people and yet again everyone just totally got into the spirit and dressed up, amazing costumes and atmosphere and we made a staggering £945 on the night!! There is still money to come in so fingers crossed we will make £1000 for Help for Heroes. THANK YOU SO MUCH from myself and Rita to everyone who participated and donated. Thank you Suzanne for the photos. SPECIAL THANKS to Vivienne Shelley at Glitz Fancy Dress yet again for creating our Motown idols: Diana Ross (me), my Supremes (Rita & Ann), The Jackson Five (Anna, Colleen, Michelle, Karen & Nicky)...oh and the 6th Jackson (Tyran) and not forgetting Stevie Wonder (Rob)....WONDERFUL!!!

Brenda's Zumbathon 2013

22^nd November.

Elvis was in the building..... and boy did I enjoy it!!!! Cracking night, amazing costumes, dancing and Zumba cakes. We have made an amazing £475 ( up to press ) for the Cancer Unit at North Staffs. Huge thanks from Brenda and myself, to all who attended and contributed to this last charity Zumbathon of 2013. Special thanks to my two Zumba Gold ladies Wendy & Sue who came on stage and showed us all how to Jive...to Danny & Sandy aka Ann & Rita, brilliant rendition of "You're The One That I Want" and to Nicky and Suzanne for great photos. Very special thanks to Vivienne Shelley and Glitz fancy dress of Cheadle for making me Elvis!!! Fantastic costume.
Next Zumbathon January 24th 2014, swinging 60s and Motown.

Another great fundraising night, we made a whopping £400. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Onesies, spots, super hero's you certainly didn't disappoint!!... and I just loved being "Zumba Woman". Special thanks to Joan who collected money at her local pub after class, still in her onesie!!!! Thanks also to Nicky for stepping in and taking photos for Halloween and Children In Need.
